Luxurious 8-person holiday villa located between seaside resort De Koog and Den Burg, near beach and forest. This spacious country house is tastefully furnished and fully equipped.

Living room
The spacious living room has a sitting area with gas fireplace, smart TV and music system. There is a dining area with a large dining table for 8. The open kitchen is fully equipped with various appliances, such as fridge-freezer, combination microwave oven, dishwasher. In addition, the kitchen is equipped with a coffee machine, filter coffee maker, toaster and toaster.

Bedrooms and bathrooms
There is 1 bedroom on the ground floor with private bathroom, equipped with a spacious walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a separate second bathroom. This bathroom has a 2-person Finnish sauna, a spacious walk-in shower with sunshower, a bathtub with whirlpool function and a vanity unit. All bedrooms in the house have comfortable box-spring beds and a TV. There is also a separate toilet on both the ground floor and first floor.

Garden
The living area is in direct connection with the terrace through sliding doors. The terrace is equipped with a dining set, a lounge set and a parasol. The garden faces south. In the typical Texel beach house, you can lock your bicycles safely. You can also use the garden fireplace and charcoal barbecue. The children can jump on the dug-in trampoline while you enjoy the peace and quiet while enjoying a snack and a drink. The 8-seater wood-fired hot tub can be used all year round, both in summer and winter. Enjoy the wonderful fragrance, the sound of nature, the flaming wood fire and the stars in the sky. Pure enjoyment.

General
Washing machine, tumble dryer and children’s furniture are available in the utility room. Free Wifi. Underfloor heating ensures a pleasant temperature. Firewood is standard present, for this we charge €27.50. You get about 5 bags of wood for this. And as many as 4 dogs are welcome.

Parking

You park your car on the paved car park near your bungalow.

Do not park in the garden or on the verge.

Rubbish

At the entrance to the bungalow park, there are several containers in which you can separate your waste (batteries, cans, paper and other household waste).

Please tear the boxes into pieces. In the centre of the village, there are glass containers in various places.

Please note!: in order to avoid distrubances in the sewage system, please dispose of damp cloths wipes, bandages, nappies, food waste etc. should be trown in the wase container and not flushes down the toilet.

Outdoor furniture

In case of strong winds, we kindly ask you to put away the garden furniture safely and fold down the umbrellas and awnings.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on a leash in the bungalow park. Please respect this rule! You can walk your dog outside the park. In the unlikely event of excrement in the park, please clean it up and dispose of it in the container at the entrance.

Hottub

Preparation time

If you want to use the hot tub, you should allow for ample preparation time. Filling the tub takes 1.5 hours. After that, firing up takes about 2 hours.

Minimum filling quantity

The tub should be filled to at least 5 cm above the upper connection pipes of the stove before lighting. In winter. do not let a ful tub freeze. Empty the tub or provide suitable heating.

Never light the stove if the tub is not completely filled with water! You must not start emptying the tub before the fire and ashes are completely extinguished. Heating a half-empty tub may cause the stove to melt!

Lighting

Use small pieces of dry wood for lighting and later add larger pieces of wood every 10-15 minutes are required. Make sure the wood in the stove keeps burning well so that the hot tub get maximum heat. If the fire burns low. it will take much longer to heat up. Use ligther fluid according to the instructions supplied with it. Do not use other fuels when lighting. You can also use fireifghters. Leave the door open until the first wood is burning well.

When lighting, it is a good idea to cover the bath to minimise heat loss. Measure the water temperatur with the optional thermometer every 20 minutes or so.

When the water reaches the temperature of 32 degrees, it is wise to add less wood so that the bath does not become unnecessarily hot. When the desired temperature has been reached, you can maintain a small fire to maintain the water temperature if you wish

After use

After each use, remove the ashes from the stove so that the grates or air vents are not left covered with ashes. If you are no longer using the hot tub, drain the water. To do this, open the tap at the back

What to do before departure

What to do before departure?

Empty the fridge.
Please set the thermostat of the central heating to 15 degrees.
Do the dishes and/or empty the dishwasher.
If necessary, put hired linen and/or towels in one of the pillowcases
and leave it by the front door. Leave moles and pillowcases on the mattresses and pillows. This also applies if you had beds made on arrival.
Clean the fireplace (if present) with a dustpan and brush, not with a hoover.
Empty the water tank of the tumble dryer and remove dust from the filter.
Dispose of household waste in the containers provided.
